CSD, Lasallian Volunteers kick off TASK

Lasallian teachers and student volunteers launched Tulong Aral sa Kanayunan (TASK), last August 23, 2008 at Boso-boso, Antipolo.

A continuing six-month voluntary reachout program lead by the Center for Spiritual Development (CSD) and the High School Department, TASK aims to conduct reinforcement classes on Science, Math, and Reading subjects of Old Boso-boso Elementary School students.

Upon the arrival of the volunteers, students lined up adn grouped themselves according to their year level to witness the opening program. To formally begin, Ms. Amy C. Galang, High School Principal, delivered a brief speech regarding the school's continuous effort in lending a hand to the students of Boso-boso. The second half of the program paved the way for entertainment as several Upper years students and The Kundirana presented song and dance numbers.

The CSD expressed their aim to gather more volunteers for the Saturdays to come and carry on with the reachout program.
